American Idol "FINALLY" and I cried...
OK, yes, I did think that the blind guy had to go. He wasn't as good as others, but he was better then the black girl on the show. I mean she has like ONE tone! Why did people vote for her! I could NOT believe Anube had less votes then HER! She's not horrible, but she should have gone before him, and Anube should've had more votes for him...quite honestly, I think when it comes down to it, the votes are racially bias. If voters would vote for the best singer...she would have gone at the beginning. I sure do wonder about it...is it fair, or are people still judging on the color of your skin or your talent. Also...is anyone else infuriated that they are lip singing to their music numbers with each other?!?!?! They never did that before! What's going on with that???
Taking the stage
There's a fairly new reality t.v. show called "Taking the Stage"...it's a really good show. I like watching it, and Mia is amazing. She's a singer/musician/songwriter, and she's very good. I loved her song that she wrote and played in her show case. Of course there has to be a very pointless part of this show, and that's the too too wearing, drama loving, talentless ballerina. I don't even remember her name. Honestly, it's not even important enough to remember. The only thing that's interesting near her is Tyler. He's a boy, who's young and naive, but is an amazing dancer. He just happens to be a normal teenage boy. Who thought he could cheat on his girlfriend on national television, and keep Mia open as an option?!?! If Mia is as smart as I think she is, she'll walk away now. Again here is a show that shows young people at their worst. Drama, drama, and more drama. It's addictive, even I like watching it, well, parts of it.
The Hills
Aww....you have to love these girls...not every girl in America can be so good at "playing" the dimwitted blonde, with the annoying boyfriend. Is it me or does Spencer look like he bought that hair from a spa and glued it to his face...I bet the entire time he was having it plastered to his chin, he was thanking God that Heidi got a Brazilian wax...without her, he'd have no beard....aww Hiedi, the things you do for your man...LOL! OK, back to the issues here...does ANYONE see the negative affect this t.v. show has on the youth who watch it. Are Hiedi and Spencer the couple you want your kids to look at and think "that's what a relationship should be like"...NO!!!Wow...what a TOTAL waste of air time...noone wants to see all that ugly on a t.v. show...BRING BACK JUSTIN BOBBY!!Did you guys catch the premier, or atleast the end of it?! Can we all start singing Kanye West "Gold Digger" anthem...wow...and at first...sight, I bet you thought that bartender was full of nothing real and everything...fake. Then you listened to her and realized that she has to be a boxed brunette, or maybe her stupidity is because of all the chemicals that seeped through her scalp, and fried her brain...but of course she's not an idiot. She just plays one VERY well. Seriously though, can ANYONE tell me what the "purpose" is for having this on a reality t.v. show. Kids actually think all this crap is REAL! Can we PLEASE start thinking about our childrens psychological health...shows like this influence the young. Is this behavior ok?!Should we be ok with our kids watching this?! Wow, and to think, this is a part of pop culture. Yikes!

LOCK YOUR DOORS PEOPLE!!
So, this is a VERY sad story about a 13 year old girl who was found murdered in her parents home in Arlington,TX. Apparently she had been raped and then strangled to death. This happened WHILE her parents were ASLEEP! I dont even know what I'd do if I had the knowledge that this kind of evil happened to my child while I was asleep in the other room, and all I had to do was make sure to LOCK MY DOOR. It had been reported that 24 year old mexican man who commited the crime was here in the U.S. on a work visa...the family didn't lock ther door, so he walked in while they were all asleep, raped the little girl, and then strangled her to death...it's heartbreaking to even TRY to imagine that little girls last thoughts...so, so, sad...so just remember to LOCK YOUR DOORS PEOPLE!

How could I NOT mention American Idol...
I have yet to meet a person who has never watched this show. American Idol is a reality t.v. show where hopefuls tryout for their American dream. For the life of me, I still don't understand why the blind guy is still on their. Is the voteing rigged? Or do we (America) feel sorry for him enough to STILL be on this show...MY GOD MAN, he's not horrible, but he's deffinately NOT good enough to be on the show. America needs to stop feeling bad for this guy, he should deffinately NOT continue on...Voters...listen with your ears NOT with your heart! This is about good singing NOT the sadessed story! What kind of message is that sending to your kids or kids in general??That lieing is ok, as long as it's a white lie? As long as it's for someone elses benefit? My answer to this is...of course...NO!
Bridezilla??? reality t.v. gone scary!!
Wow...first time I watched this show...I could not believe that someone ACTUALLY wanted to marry this girl. She yelled, screamed, and whined about EVERYTHING. What kind of impression did this show leave on all of the hopeful brides in America. What were producers and higher ups thinking?!?! Did they want to scare off the ENTIRE population of men from getting married? Seriously after watching this show if I were them, I'd NEVER commit to marriage. If the producers were aiming at the engaged couple of America, and their intentions were to give them second thoughts. Then hats off to you at the production company!! GOOD JOB!!Divorce rate have gone up, and the percent of engaged couples has gone down. Heck, who even needs a manogomous relationship?? I wish they'd stop thinking about how much money a show will make them, and start thinking about what kind of message this reality show is sending to the youth of America.
Pop culture (reality t.v.)
Many people do not know that the first reality t.v. show aired in 1952. Alot of young america figured it started with MTV's Real World. I believe that Real World was the reason why reality t.v. shows have made such an influence in pop culture favorites. In some of my blogs I am going to talk about reality t.v. shows, ask questions that I believe are important, and hopefully some of you will answer them. This is a free for all...noone will be judged on their ideas. Just let me know what you think.
Reality t.v. continued (burned Melissa has a new guy!)
So...she was "burned" on national t.v. when her then fiance broke up with her to be with "what's her name" (the girl he dumped in the first place) and now she has moved on to a new guy (who's is totally hot, you'd know if you watch Ellens show.)Also she is on Dancing with the stars...so, yeah..haha Jason, you dumped her, America hates you. She's on dancing with the stars, and I bet your house has been egged atleast once! I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to get back together with her at a later time. OH WAIT! He has, she admits on the Ellen degeneres show! Karma...is so sweet when it's not coming back on you! I have to wonder though, what kind of influence does this show have on the youth of America?Do young men watch this show idolizing this guy?Does reality t.v. have that kind of power? I believe the answer is YES it does!
The Hills
From Laguna Beach to her own reality t.v. show...Lauren Conrad has come a long way from the comforts of high school and home. In her reality t.v. show, we've seen her go from Jason ( a rumored drug addict at the time) to a well known actor Kyle Howard (from Orange County, Cali) who I'll always remember as "Grover" from House Arrest. Oh Lauren how far you've come from your public display of hurt over Jason (when he introduced her to his fiance, who Lauren had no prior knowledge of) to her "not on the show" current boy toy (Kyle Howard). Of course when it comes to role models....I don't think young women should look apon reality show t.v. stars. Let us not forget that Lauren has come far, but she still skipped on Paris to spend her summer with Jason. BIG mistake?YES! Good thing she didn't let Brody change her mind. Guess she learned her lesson. No guy is worth PARIS!
Reality t.v. coninues
I'm sure that even if you haven't watched the bachelor, you've heard about the famous "Jason"...he asked a women to marry him on NATIONAL television, only to break up with her a month later on NATIONAL television. How is she supposed to get over that? To make things worse, he gets back together with the girl he dumped on NATIONAL television on the shows finale.
Reality TV...a MUST for me!
I'm pretty sure that everyone has heard of popular reality t.v. shows such as The Hills, The City, The Bacholar, etc. How many of you can honestly say that at one point you haven't been addicted. I am guitly of it myself. On the finale of The City...I finally got to see a head strong women on television who put her and her career before the guy in her life. Way to go WHITNEY!
Talking to with the "enemy" or the "frenemy"?
So...I still think Obama hasn't done much on the pres front...but it looks like Clinton has!YAY for us! So clinton has talked to not only Iran, but Russia also?!!?! This is the woman, who most of the U.S. and the democratic party thought couldn't handle being president. Looks to me like people owe her an apology. Having a cordial meeting with Russia might not be so unheard of. On the other hand, being able to talk to the Iranian president, now that shows something.-MSNBC.com
Obama...nation...how about obamination?!?!
While the Grandpa who isn't bothered that his wife isn't out of grade school yet is still disturbing...in other news, president Obama has yet to show his supporters the change he promised for our wondeful country. Apparently it is time for a change...but the only thing I see him changing is the fine print on a piece of paper that has been around since the civil war. I say if he's going to change any fine print...then it might start with the rule about "the president of the U.S. has to be a born citizen of the U.S." if he doesn't try to start there...then rumor mill says he will not be in the White house for long, since many believe him not to be a born U.S. citizen. That would make his claim to our presidency illegal, and also it would prove that he was illegaly a senator. Of course I don't see the U.S. voting him out of office, we wouldn't want the entire world to see that we screwed up.-AOL news...

Grandpa buys 8 year old girl, and makes her his wife?!?!
Mind-boggling events going on lately. In Saudi Arabia, an 8 year old girls' father sells her into a marriage with a 58 year old man. Her father entered her into this marriage for $7,500, and a VERBAL contract that her 58 year old husband can not consumate the marriage until she's a legal adult. Her mother found out and tried to get a divorce for her daughter, only to be ruled against by the court. The court says the little girl can not divorce her husband until she hits puberty. I beilieve this is one of the saddessed things I've ever heard. Selling your daughter to an OBVIOUSE pedophile!! He willingly married an 8 year old girl. I doubt that his thoughts were pure about her keeping her virtue till she's an adult.
